how do i make a booking?

do you have a waiting list? if so, how long is it?

I now book in 3 month blocks and post on my social media when I’m opening the calendar for the next round of work. This ensures there isn’t a massive wait time for anyone looking to start a project with me. I am always super keen to hear your ideas and will book you as soon as i possibly can to help provide you with the best outcome and the best tattoo i can make for you!

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE TATTOO?

As is the norm in the industry, cash is king. This allows me to pay the studio in a timely fashion. We do not have card facilities in the studio, but there are ATMs nearby. Sometimes they don’t work however, so please try to come prepared.

How do you charge? is it by the piece, day rate or per hour?

As of 2023 I will be charging by the hour ($220 ph). I do not have a day rate. If you have a budget in mind, please feel free to include that in the contact form and i can take that into account when booking you in. Some smaller single session pieces will be charged by size depending on style. Quoted prices are subject to change however as there are often differing factors client to client that can drastically alter how long the piece may take, how many sessions are required for safe and effective healing etc.

where do you work?

I primarily work full time at Shinra Electric Tattoo(a private studio in Thornbury, address provided upon booking) and i try to regularly guest at Little Tokyo in Sydney. I do sometimes travel outside of Australia to work. This is usually announced via social media, so please make sure to follow me on instagram and facebook for regular updates (links on the bottom of the page).

how does the booking and design process usually work?

Once i receive your booking form i can then decided whether a consultation is necessary (this isn’t always the case as some ideas are very clear cut and not open to interpretation). If a consult is necessary, ill be in touch to book a time to meet and discuss the project with you. Once we have the concept for the tattoo clearly defined, i can book the tattoo appointment/s in for you. Designs are normally sent through a day or two before your booking for approval. This is standard procedure for most artists and is the best i can offer in keeping with my current workload. If you want any changes made to the design, it’s normally not an issue at all. If the changes are major in nature, this can result in your appointment being rescheduled and your deposit may be forfeit, so please make sure to offer as much information as you can in the booking form and make sure that you are certain of what you want.

DO YOU NEED TO TAKE A DEPOSIT?

In order to secure your booking and before i can do any drawings i require a deposit. This amount varies and will come off the total cost of the tattoo. If the project is ongoing in nature and requires multiple sessions, the deposit will come off the total cost of the final session. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Although the session time needs be paid for in cash, deposits can be taken via Netbank tranfer.
